After a 25 plus year career as a viticulturist and oenologist; I moved back to our little "Valley (Fort Valley) within the Valley (Shenandoah Valley)"  of Virginia.  I soon purchased a few Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk.  Most of our land is wooded with small areas of meadow interspersed. What better place for goats who are browsers not grazers? Upon visiting a friend I fell in love with her gentle LaManchas and knew right away that they were my destiny. I found good homes for my little Nigerian's and purchased my first LaManchas.  I now look forward to growing my herd and spending more time utilizing their creamy, sweet milk for my natural farm products.
